Dr Chika Nya-Etok

Dr Chika Nya-Etok is a Public Health Physician with over thirty five years experience in the medical profession and is a 2015 Fellow of the Health Literacy Leadership Institute of Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, Massachusets.

A former Country Medical Adviser of Unilever Nigeria, she is currently the Principal of HealthWise Concepts in Nigeria which drives Health Literacy promotion towards the achievement of Universal Health Coverage (UHC).

Dr Chika is trained and certified in Crisis Counselling by Institute of Counselling, Glasgow, UK. She is also certified by Trauma Healing Institute of American Bible Society, USA as a Healing group and Training facilitator.

Dr Chika is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators of Nigeria.

Dr Chika is a highly sought-after speaker in conferences, seminars and trainings. She talks about public health, health literacy, mental health and trauma healing as well as relationship health and grief counselling.

Dr Chika Nya-Etok is married and is a mother to three grown-up children and a grandmother to a delightful boy.
